Free Advance Copies plus Poster Reveal
Hey!
Hope all’s well. As promised, here’s the reveal of the Gordon’s Feast poster that I illustrated. It took me forever to finish but I think I finally managed to achieve that 70’s vintage look I was going for.
While half of Gordon’s Feast is a techno-thriller set in modern day Europe, the other half takes place in Gordon’s unconscious mind; a satirical dreamworld that pays homage to giants like Tolkien, Roddenberry, and Gygax. I wanted this poster to be like something you’d see in a basement rec-room during a game of Dungeons & Dragons, or maybe pinned to the wall of an old bookshop or comic store.
The poster’s central image is of the Isle of Middleworld, with the dragon Camphor atop the title. Below is a scene from Lowerworld, showing the ruins of Bath and the twin cities of Cinder and Burn. Between them is the strange machine that Dr. Perniferous built, with the mysterious Pool of the Gabool looming beneath. Encased in the poster’s borders are the hideous glor, and at the bottom, on either side of the Warden’s formidable sword, are Mandy and Gordon looking as steadfast and resolute as I could get them to look.
I’ll be announcing three winners of this poster in the next email I send out. If, like me, you never seem to win anything, you can always pick one up at this link.
And speaking of giveaways, the winner of last week’s Lowerworld Map raffle is:

If this is you then congratulations! Please respond to this email with your shipping address and I’ll send you your free print!
Now I’d like to introduce the new launch team logo I put together!
In my last email, I mentioned I was going to be creating a book launch team. Well this is it. I hope it doesn’t seem too formal but it’s really important to me. The #1 thing that indie authors need on launch day is lots of reviews. Without them we’re sunk. A book without reviews is invisible to the algorithms, and it doesn’t even qualify for advertising. For this reason, authors are more than willing to give away advance reader copies in exchange for reviews on launch day.
So, I would like to invite you to be part of my Reviewers Group, to help me on my journey as an artist, and to get all my latest books free. My work is my gift to you, and it’s always your encouragement and kind reviews that empower me to keep on giving. Up until now, I’ve never had a way to thank my reviewers, but all that will change with this new group.
Sign up and you’ll get:
Free advanced preview copies of EVERYTHING I ever release.
Personal acknowledgements thanking you by name inside every book.
Awesome prizes raffled off with every novel or short story I launch, including posters, hardback copies, NFTs, and prints of my paintings and illustrations.
All in exchange for your promise to review my books on launch day. If this sounds like something you’d like to be a part of then click the button below to sign up and get your free advance copy of The Isle Of Lowerworld.
Thanks so much for reading this email. I hope you enjoyed the advance peek at the Gordon’s Feast poster, and I really hope you’ll consider joining my Reviewers Group. There are limited places in it, so if you’re interested it might be best to sign up now.
The next time you hear from me I’ll be announcing the winners of those free posters I promised, so make sure to tune in!
All the best,
Gilliam Ness.
